Blue Ribbon Bakery Kitchen

Blue Ribbon Bakery KitchenMany a two top line the windowed perimeter of this West Village, bistro-tavernesque favorite – perpetually dressed in the most deliciously fragrant eau de pain. It's especially great for a casually collected brunch affair. So think chic, but comfortable. After all, what’s the point in digging in to a plate of comfort food when all you can focus on is how much you hate yourself for not having worn flats? Dating is already too painful. That said, the Blue Benedict is devilishly good – Cotto ham, Jarlsberg and tomato spread neatly over toasted Challah, topped with that oh too good looking mess of an egg. And for the decidedly un-Kosher amongst you, the Shrimp & Bacon Hash poured over with Hollandaise is definitely worth the “Why did I do this to myself I’m so full I may never move again” monologue that’s sure to follow.
