The River Café
Ah, The River Café. Beautiful, only from Dumbo views of the city. Lovely garden seating. This is beyond the fanciest Brooklyn may get. Especially for brunch. I mean, the Fresh Truffle Omelette not ritzy enough for you? Nor the casually expensive Caviar Service? One can only eat caviar for breakfast so many times in one week. I suppose the Golden Pancakes will just have to do. Obviously golden in color, as all ideal, perfectly panned pancakes are. But even more so - a racing stripe of 24 carat gold dusted milk chocolate, carmelized hazelnuts, smoky bacon, and pure, ready to pour Vermont maple syrup.
