The latest reincarnation of the basement lounge from Kenmare has been reopened as a bar called L'il Charlies. Done up in a homage to 1970s decadence and glam rock, the bar is brazen and bold in bronze with black leather banquet seating and palm trees adorning the space. With specialty cocktails and bites to eat from the chef Richard Diamonte, who also works at the kitchen of Ken & Cook upstairs, L’il Charlies is sure to become a popular destination for those seeking a twist on the classic margarita.
