What: Hidden below De Santos in the West Village is La Barbona, a new under-the-radar Mexican eatery tailored for night dwellers. The cantina-style restaurant sticks to traditional Mexican food like tacos and ceviche, made by Chef Michael Hamilton who has worked at hot spots including Acme, The Surf Lodge, and Kingswood. The rest of the team is a mix of downtown creative types, including Up & Down's Ronnie Flynn and Pravda's James Huddlestone, who make it an all-in-one eating, drinking, and dancing staple.
