Sauce Is Delivering Over 250 Pizzas A Day To Healthcare Workers In NYC & You Can Help!

by Stephanie Maida · April 14, 2020

They've been getting those well-deserved cheers every night at 7 pm, but it's time to give first-responders and medical workers what they really want (you know, besides PPE): pizza!

Italian hot spot Sauce Pizzeria, which was forced to shut its doors to diners last month along with the rest of New York's bars and restaurants, has been keeping its pizza ovens warm for the people on the front lines of the COVID crisis. Since March 17th, Sauce has donated over 2,000 pies to hospitals, the NYPD, and FDNY - and they're planning to majorly up those numbers.

So how can you help? Purchase a pie to send to front-line workers through their website, or donate to their GoFundMe, which will allow them to scale up quicker. Sauce is matching each purchase with a donated pie of their own, so $110 will buy 10 pies and provide 40 meals to doctors, nurses, medical professionals, and more.

Keep clapping and say thank you in the most delicious way possible!
