ICYMI, the "Instagram Aesthetic" is officially over. And while that mostly applies to the painfully over-posed (and over-filtered) influencer set, we've seen it coming on the restaurant front for a while now. The cool kids have long abandoned the contrived "Insta eateries" and artifice of over-the-top foods in favor of refreshingly no-frills spots in the name of authenticity. But that doesn't mean they're not still snapping pics. Ironically, the anti-aesthetic vibes make these spots especially chic.
