The team behind L'Artusi is officially taking over the West Village!
Back in October, the famed culinary cohort opened b'artusi, a stylish wine bar offshoot of their beloved restaurant.
Now, just two months later, they've another jewel in their crown - a gourmand's dream all-day sandwich shop!
Via Porta, located at 522 Hudson Street, is sure to be a neighborhood staple, featuring everything from breakfast dishes like Cacio e Pepe Scones, Huckleberry Pear Poptarts, Carrot Cake Muffins and Olive Oil Loaf to delicious lunch offerings like Chicken Saltimbocca (a crispy chicken cutlet sandwich with spicy capicola, arrabiata sauce, provolone, house made pesto, and mozzarella) and a Sunchoke Caesar Salad (with crispy sunchokes, watermelon radish, and goat cheese).
For the home cooks, there's even a pantry section brimming with Italian imported ingredients, fresh cheese, and L'Artusi's exclusive pasta sauces like Mushroom Ragu, Bolognese Bianco and Amatriciana!
