The Team Behind Raoul's Just Opened The Chicest Luncheonette In Town

by Stephanie Maida · April 12, 2023

When you're in search of a classic meal and chic scene in Soho, you can always depend on Raoul's - now, for more reasons than one.

The team behind the beloved French bistro has officially expanded its downtown footprint with the debut of Revelie Luncheonette, a relaxed but no less stylish sister eatery located just across the street from the OG.

Taking over the former space of Raoul’s Boucherie, a butcher shop once run by the neighborhood staple, the new diner-style spot marries its Parisian vibes with retro Americana fare, featuring a soda-fountain counter and menu items like eggs, hamburgers, and chicken sandwiches, as well as playful milkshakes and floats.

The cozy spot is outfitted with black-and-white booths, sleek wooden accents, and a smattering of vintage art posters fit for it's forthcoming crowd of cool kid regulars.

Although it's currently only open for daytime service, Eater reports that it will soon be opening its doors for dinner as well. Of course, nothing's stopping you from grabbing a late lunch here then trading in your milkshake for a martini across the street.
