Calling all fashionable foodies - New York's most photogenic eatery is finally reopening!
Located, fittingly enough, inside photography museum Fotografiska, the Insta-worthy Verōnika first made waves as an opulent dining destination back in early 2020. Unfortunately, it was only open for a few months before being forced to shutter at the onset of COVID. It remained mostly closed over the past two years and it's fate was left up in the air.
But now it's back, boasting a fresh face-lift, a new chef, and a new menu!
With some lighter, brighter furnishings and a colorful display of surrealist photos lining the walls, the grand dining room is as glamorous as ever. Now operated by CultureWorks (the owners of NeueHouse and Fotografiska), Verōnika sees Chef Dominick Pepe is at the helm of the kitchen, whipping up upscale European classics with a focus on seasonal produce, sustainable seafood, and humanely raised meats. Think fancy chicken schnitzel, porterhouse steak, and tuna tartare topped with uni.
The moody back lounge, now distinguished as Bar Verōnika, is tucked behind dramatic 20-foot drapery, serving as the perfect spot for an intimate cocktail rendezvous.
The space officially reopens this Thursday, but you can snag a sneak peek ahead!
