What does Mario Batali have in common with Tina Brown? (Hint: It's not orange Crocks.) They're actually related! It's true! At yesterday's premiere screening at Lincoln Center of the new PBS series, "The Faces of America," people who hold degrees higher than yours revealed Batali and Brown are "autosomal cousins."

And yes, you've seen advertisements for this series plastered all over the subway, but in case you haven't been paying attention (we know you don't read, stop lying), the four-part documentary will uncover unknown genealogical connections between America's most prominent figures and celebrities. Some other "autosomal cousin" connections announced last night were Roger Friedman and Cindy Adams, Juju Chang and YoYo Ma, David Remnick and Katie Couric, and Martha Stewart was a cousin to both Mike Nichols and Oprah's Gayle King. (Doesn't that make Mike Nichols and Gayle King cousins? At least a little bit?)
