The Spanish Princess (2019)
All too often, creators of films and television shows in this genre cite "historical accuracy" as the reason for having a cast that's overwhelmingly, well, white. The Spanish Princess, however, disproves the theory that People of Color weren't present in any royal court, indeed citing aforementioned historical accuracy to present the story of Spain's Catherine of Aragon, the first wife of the infamous Henry VIII, with a diverse inner circle. And, of course, plenty of opulent gowns.
