Would you go on a blind date with somebody you've only ever heard on a podcast?
Ariana Nathani totally thinks you should. The 24-year-old native New Yorker is the founder and host of Drinks First, a cult-favorite podcast that's shaking up the city's dating landscape in the best way possible.
Already gearing up for its fourth season, Drinks First features conversations with anonymous (but very eligible) singles in the city and allows interested listeners to reach out and connect. When she's not playing a modern day matchmaker, Ariana chats with experts and local influencers to provide listeners with even more insight on dating and relationships. She's also launched a series of events at hot spots around town, bringing the Drinks First community together to mix and mingle IRL (in fact the next one, coinciding with her birthday, is coming up!).
The pod's popularity has certainly earned Ariana the title of "New York's Favorite New Dating Guru," and, needless to say, she knows a thing or two about navigating the seemingly treacherous singles scene. So obviously, we had to pick her brain.
