Waiters Reveal The WORST Dates They've Ever Witnessed

Obvious first date. Guy looks like a druggie-hippy type, girl looks very prim and proper. Both maybe 23-ish, so pretty much my age,

As you can imagine, they obviously seem a bit of a mismatch, but generally even a failed first date isn't too bad (it's those mismatched people who make it to date three or four you have to worry about in my experience).

Starts off fairly well. They seem nice enough, and while its obvious they don't have much to talk about, they both seem nice enough.

Around half way through their meal I am delivering their second round of drinks (whiskey for him, a white wine for her), I hear him state, very matter-of-factly, "You know you are paying for this shit, right?"

At this point I'm worried about whether I'm gonna get paid. The lady proceeds to get up, and slap him in the face, like hard. I tell her to calm down, please don't start a fight and if you continue I'm going to have to give you your check and ask you to leave.

She gives me this glare, and before I know what's happening she has punched me in the face. Like closed-fist, full punch-to-the-face. Breaks my glasses and a stumble backwards. The first thing I remember after that is seeing my manager standing by the service station trying desperately not to laugh his fucking ass off.

I motion to him to call the police, which luckily he actually does, before the guy (who before this was laughing uncontrollable at the whole thing) gets up and starts yelling at me that I don't, 'Treat his girlfriend like that!' I regain my ability to speak and tell him that the cops had been called and while he was free to leave he would have to settle the check first. To which he said that he had no money and that no, he and his girl would be staying for their entrees despite, "The awful service." My manager came over to back me up, right when the cops finally show up. They are trying to arrest the girl/ figure out WTF is actually going on. The boyfriend is making this harder because he is insisting that they, "Paid for a meal and will sue the cops, restaurant, and city if they are not given their entrees. He is physically getting in between the cop and his girlfriend until the cop decides he has had enough and pushes the kid away. At which point the girl leads him on a chase around the restaurant.

So she gets hauled off. And the manager argues with the guy to pay, until the guy gives him his debit card as well as a credit card. They are both are declined. So, he walks out without paying jack shit.

I know it was a first date because the guy told me before the girl showed up. Not only a first date, but a blind date.
