We're sure your "weekend stay-cations" at the Gansevoort will get a little, well, boring over the period of the next two years (how many times can you swim in the rooftop pool or take in its expansive views of Manhattan). Thank God for Moet Hennessy-Louis Vuitton!

Luckily, luxury brand LVMH Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton has announced their creation of Cheval Blanc: a high-end hotel mangement business with construction underway in Egypt and Oman. The French luxury-goods company will build on the experience of LVMH Chairman and Chief Executive Bernard Arnault's holding company--Group Arnault.

Goup Arnault's five star hotel, Cheval Blanc, opened its doors to French Alps' travelers in 2006.

Maison Cheval Blank's Oman location, situated on the exlusive island of Al Sodah, will consist of 32 high-end private villas.

The second location, complete with 40 suites, will reside on an island overlooking the Nile (fit for royality).

Yes, the cement towers of our city feel oh, so glamorous...however, sipping a glass of Wine overlooking the Nile or the expansive beaches of Al Sodah are sure to be a good change of scenery for any New Yorker.

    If only it were 2012...
