The 63rd Cannes Film Festival Comes To An End

Goodbye to red carpets, evening yacht parties, white tie dinners on the terrace looking over the water, and mid-afternoon dips at the Eden Rock Hotel; another Cannes Festival has come to an end. Here's a look at some of the last picture, including the Palme D'Or ceremony.-

The Palme D'Or Awards, the culminating event of the film festival, is a chance for the female members of the jury to pull out their most show-stopping gowns. Host Kristin Scott Thomas did just that with her green, one-shouldered ball gown. Giovanna Mezzogiorno and Kate Beckinsale also seem to have saved the best for last.

The Golden Palm went to Thai movie that the jury selected unanimously. Javier Bardem dedicated his Palme for best actor to girlfriend Penelope Cruz, "My partner, my friend, my biggest love."
