You "kept the press away"?  We might have been the first to blow your cover while you were out and about in the Hamptons but do you honestly think strolling the Hamptons streets with one of the tabloids most favorite fatherly subjects, Jon Gosselin would have slipped by the press? You basically invited us all right along for the ride during your bro-mantic vacation the second you stepped on the field at Bridgehampton Polo. When trying to avoid drawing attention to yourself, attending the most popular event in the Hamptons (not just for celebrities and socialites, but for every photographer on the East End) with your new BFF, is probably not the best idea.
