Annona Shares Her Harvest

Annona WesthamptonLocation can be misleading; when I read that the restaurant Annona was located above (and owned by) the Coachworks/MMH showroom, I imagined indifferent, overpriced eats in a faux-opulent setting. Not so, apparently. The critics from NYT, NY Mag, and Newsday are only a few of the simple Italian menu's fans, and with dishes like wood-oven roasted octopus, wild mushroom risotto, and seared scallops with morels and sunchoke puree, I can see why. Fridays, Annona boasts live music and 2 for 1 drink specials, so if sipping a Fleur de Amore (tequila, fresh grapefruit, and elderberry liquor) while listening to acoustic guitar sounds like your idea of a happy hour, you might want to head over to Westhampton this evening.
