The Chew, Carla will have you screaming "hootie hoo!" with this healthy and flavorful cranberry pear relish.
Here's What You'll Need:
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1 2-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 2 3-inch strips lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 pound fresh or frozen cranberries, thawed if frozen (4 cups)
- 4 ripe Bosc pears, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
