Kokotxa is located in the center of San Sebastian’s infamous old quarter. Designed with an understated entrance, it is clear that Chef Daniel Lopez’s idea is to keep things simple and keep it all about the food. Its seafood-heavy menu features local delicacies such as monkfish, cod, and of course, kokotxa. Dessert fanatics will revel in Kokotxa’s fairly traditional menu, that features cheesecake filled with chocolate crisps and caramelized French toast with apple ice cream.
