Known amongst the sailing set as something of a hidden gem, this tiny island state in the Eastern Caribbean provides a lush, tropical backdrop for yachts to cruise by. Here, distinctly shaped mountains and hills seem to spring out of the water, providing a unique contrast to all the mega yachts that are docked along the coast. Beyond sailing, the island itself offers a multitude of things to do, from fine dining to exceptional spa retreats to outdoor sports on water and land. St. Lucia has a wonderful French Riviera vibe sans gaudy tourists.
