Unique Landmarks
Jardin MajorelleThere are several landmarks that you should check out during the day when you're not too hungover. For starters, make a visit to the eccentric Majorelle Garden - a wonderful sanctuary from the heat of the city thanks to its bamboo and tree canopy. This cobalt blue home and garden was acquired by Yves Saint Laurent in 1980, and his ashes were scattered all over the garden in 2008. The Palais Royal is also worth having a look, but note that it closes at 4pm and earlier on Fridays. Finally, check out the Saadian Tombs which date back to 1578. Sixty members of the Saadi Dynasty are honored in this exquisitely designed mausoleum made of Italian marble. Outside the 3-room structure is a beautiful garden which you can walk around in.
