In addition to their existing seven locations, Roti Mediterranean Grill is planning the opening of two more restaurants: one in Union Station’s West Hall at 50 Massachusetts Avenue, and the other right by the University of Maryland at The Varsity in College Park at 8150 Baltimore Avenue.
In celebration of their new D.C. destinations, Roti is giving away free lunch for a year to one lucky customer at each launch location. The public can sign up and enter to win at [Union Station] or [College Park]. In addition, ten second prize winners will receive free lunch for a month at both Union Station and College Park locations, and all entrants will receive an email certificate for a free order of falafel. To be considered, contestants must sign up before each store opens.
Roti serves up different hot or cold Mediterranean dishes in a Chipotle/Subway-style method, with personal touches like fresh meat right off the grill, staff recommendations, fresh ingredients and free Falafel samples on a whim.
I have really enjoyed the location that opened up near my apartment in Rosslyn--the wrap is fluffy more bready than burrito wraps. They taste great with their mishmash of ingredients inside. You can also get your sandwich in a pita pocket, or as a plate or salad. Do check out Roti if there's one near your office.
