The Most Scandalous Political Offspring (In Recent History)

Um, obviously I can't rattle off all the scandals of the Kennedy family in one article, and it would be kind of unfair to make them take up this entire list. So, let's focus on Joe Kennedy II and his brother Michael Kennedy, who are the sons of Robert F. Kennedy, who was in politics and was also JFK's brother. Joe was running for governor of Massachusetts back in the '90's, and given that he's part of the most famous political family in New England, he was considered a shoe-in. However, he had to drop out after his ex-wife wrote a scathing tell-all book about how their annulment was total BS and how Joe was an emotionally abusive man who often berated and antagonized her. Joe had the marriage annulled because he claimed they were never truly married, and his ex Sheila claimed that they absolutely were and he was trying to silence her. He ended up marrying a woman named Mary Beth, who was his secretary during his marriage to Sheila (and I'll let you fill in the blanks on that one). 

Joe's brother Michael was his political confidant and was very close to the campaign. During the campaign, Michael was exposed for having an affair with the babysitter for years. Even worse, the affair started when the babysitter was 14 years old! As a result, Joe had to drop out of the race because there was no coming back after both he and his brother got exposed for being, well, horrible human beings. If only the same thing happened when Trump got exposed the first couple dozen times for being even worse.
