As the democrats converge (mostly virtually) for the Democratic National Convention this week, the party is celebrating presidential hopeful Joe Biden's recently-appointed running mate, Kamala Harris, the first Black woman to be nominated for vice president by a major party.

The California native, and the state's former attorney general, has held a seat in the Senate since 2017, meaning, of course, that she won't have to move far if she and Joe claim victory in November - she's already got a pretty luxurious pad in the capital. In fact, it's probably a bit nicer than her potential new digs at Number One Observatory Circle, the slightly musty mansion residence of all sitting vice presidents since 1977. Then again, she already has multiple properties to choose from when it comes to spending her days off.

From her condo in D.C. to her homes in California, Harris boasts an impressive real estate portfolio totaling roughly $8 million. Click through for a breakdown.
