Remembering Burt Shavitz, The Co-Founder Of Burt's Bees

Although Burt had experienced the corrupt world of greed, he remained positive for the rest of his life. Known as a hippie kind of guy, Burt was happy to only received the piece of land in Maine. All he cared about when selling his product was that the company stay true to the natural ingredients put into the Burt's Bees products. When Burt had began beekeeping, he considered it an act of God putting forth what Burt's future holds. He had all of his beekeeping equipment ready but no bees to work with until one day a swarm of bees were lingering by his fence post. Burt: We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for supplying the world with the most natural and efficient cosmetic products the world has ever seen. You were a man of your word, and you never let the corporate world get the best of you. We are so sorry to hear of your loss, but we are so grateful for what you have given the world.
