It was a fashionable family affair in Ibiza last weekend as members of the Fendi dynasty celebrated the nuptials of fellow scion and socialite Paola Fendi and her dapper beau, Aram Ahmed. The great-granddaughter of the Italian fashion house's namesake founders, Adele and Edoardo Fendi, Paola has carved out her own high-profile career in the art world, working as an Associate Vice President at Christie's, the prestigious auction house.
Despite the bride's obvious fashion brand ties, Paola actually opted for a lace-detailed couture gown from Valentino. She did, however, pay homage to her family legacy by accessorizing with a white Fendi purse (something borrowed, perhaps?).
The couple said "I do" in a stunning 13th-century cathedral in the Spanish island's old town, surrounded by white blooms and local musicians who performed throughout the ceremony. The glamorous festivities then continued on at the luxurious Atzaró Agroturismo hotel, where around 250 well-heeled guests enjoyed a black-tie reception featuring poolside violinists, DJ sets, dancing, and an epic cake-cutting moment that saw the newlyweds lit up by sparklers in front of a lush wall of flowers.
Nothing less than what we'd expect from certified fashion royalty. Curious? Click through for an inside look at the lavish celebration!
