[Matt Levine having "brunch" with friends] We're half way into summer and have seen all sorts of debauchery, mayhem, and drunken tom foolery that ensues during Brunch at Day & Night in Southampton that has little or nothing to do with the main factor that is needed to call an event "brunch"...The food. Much like the brunch party at the city's Mercato 55 The Day & Night Restaurant Beach Club doesn't have much need to serve food, because let's be realistic, when party goers head to a bash thrown by the Koch brothers, they're in for the boozy party and little else...
More photos below...In fact, does Day & Night even need a kitchen? A chef? We sometimes forget that the hot spot is even a restaurant in the first place. But after parties like these, it doesn't seem like anyone minds....We dug through our collection of D & N photos in hopes of finding at least one diner amongst the crowd. No Luck...
