In a pre-covid world, three talented artists met to discuss this group exhibition.
The idea was to explore archeology in the artists' own work. Each was to select an artifact from the MET and artistically respond to it. As luck would have it, all three chose the Navigational Chart (Rebbilib) from the Marshall Islands.
While the artifact connects the core of each artwork, their perspective and interpretation vary drastically. It's all nothing short of breathtaking.
