Performance by Paul Cocksedge
Friendman Benda never fails to deliver when it comes to great designs shows, so I was especially delighted to view their newest exhibition, Performance by Paul Cocksedge.
The show is comprised of three separate works. There are pieces of blown glass, those composed of giant blocks of concrete and sheets of metal, and the lastly, concrete and metal cores that he collected during the pandemic and made into furniture. The way in which the different works interact with one another, as well as the negative and positive space between them, creates a beautiful and intriguing experience for the viewer.
On view at Friedman Benda now through April 17th.
