A Valuation
What is it that makes an object valuable? Seven artists try to answer that question in "A Valuation," presented by Alexander Clark & Friends, a group exhibition that seeks to transform iron into gold, or "a landfill’s worth of disparate materials and methods" into objects of beauty and worth. But isn't that really what art's all about? Artistic alchemists include David Maddy, Osamu Kobayashi, Lauren Silberman, Justin Davis Anderson, Chris Domenick, Andy Monk, and Tara Cronin.
