Sorry, but if you think you've been living the high life eating fries doused in truffle oil at your local bar, we've got some bad news for you: that stuff's not real. Any dish that features actual truffles, especially the priciest and most rare ones (that would be white truffles from Italy) definitely won't be included on any happy hour menu. We're talking hundreds of dollars for a few shavings here, folks. And you thought your dealer charged a lot for mushrooms.
