Danny Gil - Weather Up (Tribeca)
One of the best reasons to head down to
Tribeca is to taste a cocktail by Weather
Up's Danny Gil. With a resume that includes cocktail bars Little Branch, Dutch Kills, and Milk & Honey, Danny has mastered the art of
mixology and made Weather Up a downtown favorite.
"I feel like bartenders will start using ingredients that you would normally see in food. Beets, corn, celery etc. Pisco and tequila will make a comeback. Amaro will always be there too. It has been a big deal for a while now, but at the end of the day, it's kinda the same thing in a different bottle. What you get from the infusion of bitter herbs, aromatic plants, fruit in alcohol and water...it works with different drinks"
