This spooky season, The Garret Coctelería is celebrating spirits of all sorts at its festive new pop-up inspired by Mexico's Day of the Dead. After all, Halloween isn't just about creepy ghouls and goblins.

Decked out in over 5,000 feet of marigold flowers, an abundance of candles, and string lights galore, Coctelería de los Muertos embraces the colorful traditions of Día de los Muertos while serving up thematic cocktails highlighting the flavors (and spirits) of Latin America.

Sip a tequila-based Certified Sad Boy out of a skull while admiring the custom-built altars honoring icons like Selena, the Notorious B.I.G., Jimi Hendrix, and Amy Winehouse, or opt for Beverage Director Max Stampa-Brown's Weeping in Queens, made with white rum, pumpkin puree, orange bell pepper, cane, pumpkin spice rum, and peach preserves. Pair your drink with bites from Borrachito's Chef Yuval Ochoa, including tacos, halibut ceviche, and spicy tuna tartare.
