John DeLucie, the head chef and partner in The Lion, has taken over the former Bruno Jamais space at 24 East 81st Street by Madison Avenue. He plans to make it a “classic New York-American restaurant." We emailed for more details, but were told that the are finalizing everything right now.

There is a marble foyer, a wood-paneled lounge that evokes a nineteenth-century gentleman’s club complete with leather upholstered chairs and candlelight, and that its swank enough for the most fabulous VIP's in the city.
