Nothing says "date night" quite like knocking back a few martinis while cozying up on a velvet banquette enveloped by candlelit ambiance and jazzy tunes, and you can experience all of the above at Madeline's Martini.
The sultry new watering hole has recently made its debut in the East Village, helmed by Endless Hospitality Group and restaurateurs Robert Ceraso and Jason Mendenhall (The Wayland, Goodnight Sonny, Bar Lula). The resplendent space is decked out in marble and emerald green, boasting a particularly glamorous peacock theme throughout, from its scene-stealing murals by local artist Leah Tinari to a regal taxidermy bird holding court above a vintage cigarette machine. Needless to say, the spot is equal parts cheeky and chic.
As its name suggests, of course, the drink menu is filled with a wide selection of martinis, including unique interpretations like the The Dirty Peacock (vodka, dry vermouth, black olive brine, stuffed olives), Martini By The Sea (mezcal, sea lettuce brine, bianco vermouth), and The Breakfast Martini (black tea gin, lemon, marmalade), along with a range of classic highballs.
On the food front, you can expect decadent bites to match the atmosphere, including shareable plates of Iberico ham, anchovy olives, and even a splurge-worthy caviar sandwich that you can take turns nibbling with your boo.
For a lively yet refined night out fit for a fine-feathered flock, look no further.
