Last Thursday was the start of the 6th Annual New York Burlesque Festival, "4 Days and Nights of Glitter and Glamour in Gotham." Hendrick's Gin provided a most unusual kissing booth for opening night.  When is a kiss worth $2k?  Well, I suppose there are certain circumstances.  This wasn't one of them.  Not sure what the cost per kiss was but here were the "Rules of Engagement.":

No Tongues, Please.  This is a civilized kissing booth.

Hands to Yourself. We just met!

For Heaven's Sake it's Just a Kiss! Please don't ask us out afterward.

Kissing is NOT a Cure for Hiccups! Perhaps you should come back later.

If you Want to Nibble, we Suggest a Cucumber. For procedural purposes, we are focusing on the traditional Edwardian kiss.

For what it's worth, I think you have a better chance of spending less per kiss at an actual Burlesque venue like The Box, but that's not fun now is it?
