Happy Ending
If you're looking for a bar that will appeal to both your grungy downtown friends and your dad's coworker's son who was invited because he is apparently "really nice" and "starting at Columbia" in the fall, Happy Ending is your place. Although located on an unsuspecting Chinatown block, Happy Ending is much more than the lovechild of vulgarity and a mid-aughts bar crawl. After its recent revamping, the restaurant and bar offers an upstairs with a functioning piano and the seductive sounds of Sinatra, while downstairs hosts a disco ball, fuzzy furniture, and plenty of potential partners in debauchery. Get you a bar that can do both.
Happy Ending, 302 Broome Street.
