Care for a cocktail with some gorgeous Central Park views? Then you'll want to hit this glamorous new rooftop lounge ASAP.
Towering above Central Park South, Darling is the elevated hideaway atop the recently revamped Park Lane Hotel. Considering the fact that it's the only high-up watering hole on the strip famously dubbed "Billionaire's Row," the spot offers, as expected, a true wealth of riches.
Sip like a socialite on the 47th floor, surrounded by Art Deco style opulence, bold accents, and plush canopied seating inspired by the iconic horse carriages in the park below. The gilded space, designed by LUCID, Highgate’s in-house Design and Construction Studio, feels like the secret garden of a grand estate, featuring a whimsical floral mural, vibrant greenery, and, of course, a wraparound patio providing stunning views of Central Park and the surrounding city skyline.
As for that aforementioned cocktail? It'll be served courtesy of Scott Sartiano, the hospitality impresario and founder of buzzy members' club ZERO BOND, who has been tapped to helm the hotel's food and beverage program. Order up drinks like the Darling Unlimited (Grey Goose Vodka, spiced pear, ginger, lemon, angostura) and Central Park South (Tanqueray Gin, Campari, Melon de Provence, sweet vermouth, lemon) to be paired with very fancy bar bites including a caviar grilled cheese, lavish seafood tower, and Wagyu Katsu Sando.
"We're excited to be providing Park Lane New York guests as well as locals a truly unique experience at Darling. With all the spaces we've created at Park Lane New York, we’ve transformed what is to be expected of a venue in Midtown Manhattan and Darling will be no different," Sartiano said in the release. "Upon entering the space, you are transported to a time when you can feel the energy of the city celebrating its renaissance."
See you there, darling!
