[All photos from Nicky Digital] Trash!'s DJ Jess, Alex Malfunction and Jeremy Bastard rang in the weekend when they provided the music to a burlesque show at The Studio in Webster Hall. Yep, it was NSFW -- don't kid yourself.
I'm sure you know what "burlesque" is (a simple Dita Von Teese Google search will do the trick if you don't), so I'll tell you something else: did you know DJ Jess might be NYC's best DJ? Citysearch.com voted him as the "Best DJ in NYC," and The L Magazine did too...twice. He's also a photographer, who categorizes his work as "strangely sexual." So it's not surprising people take their clothes off when they hear his spins, right? Well even so, I'm sure there's a ton of people out there who wish they possessed that same skill. (Quite honestly you'd be a fool not to want it. But we'll let you pretend otherwise.)
