Looking for a spot that's actually cool in Midtown? You're in luck!

Katherine, a moody new cocktail bar featuring upscale Korean-inspired tapas, has landed in the neighborhood.

Prominent Koreatown restaurateur, Tony Park of QB Hospitality (Antoya BBQ, Angelina Bakery) is at the helm of the warm, brick-walled haunt, which is serving up fancy shareable plates with a focus on seafood, from sea urchin topped with caviar to octopus, scallops, and mud crab. You'll also find Korean braised short ribs and flat iron steak on the menu. Ideal for both after-work snacking and more celebratory occasions.

Obviously, you'll need some cocktails to wash it all down, and with a drinks program developed by industry pro and Angel's Share alum Shigefumi “Shige” Kabashima, you won't be disappointed. Creative sips include the Little Sister (soju, tomato, lemon, red alaea salt), AM Apple Dew (gin, apple, shiso, elderflower, prosecco), and the practically-a-dessert Smooth Monkey, made with bourbon, banana, chocolate, cinnamon, demerara, ginger, and miso. If you've been missing the works of drinkable art from Angel's Share, Katherine is clearly your answer.
