Odessa Restaurant

Yes it's a diner, but anyone who has partied in the East Village at any point since the 1980s knows that the Odessa is as iconic as any late-night spot can get. Up until March, it's been serving an after-hours crowd Ukrainian fare with a bit more old school NYC authenticity than the better-lit and more scrubbed-up Veselka nearby (which, by the way, we cannot lose ever). It recently made an appearance in Russian Doll (seen below) and is set to serve its last to-go meals on Sunday, July 19th.
