I personally think it’s going to be a while before it’s back to full force. I hope by Halloween if not NYE. I definitely anticipate a lot of outdoor events this summer. Pop ups, piers, parks, etc. People are going to want outdoor events because generally that’s safer than gathering indoors.

The scene has changed so much. This summer we saw so many DIY event producers throwing bridge parties and park parties. They became gurus to the people that still wanted to party. And I think these DIY events are here to stay and influence the scene, especially this summer with so much in the air around what we can and cannot do.

But for real I’m going to need everyone to wear a name tag for the first couple of months because masks are here to stay. (I can’t for the life of me recognize anyone with a mask.) Also, I will not be getting anyone at the door who doesn’t have proof of meeting the testing or vaccination requirements.

After the plague came the Renaissance so that’s where we’re heading towards. An outdoor Renaissance.
