We love the sort of vintage, old school decor. How does that contribute to the atmosphere?
We feel that our rustic, ‘vintage, old school decor’ as you say, helps provide a feeling of warmth to our guests. We’ve always had the mindset that we want our guests to feel like SOE is home, and there's no better feeling of home than feeling comfortable. We are also paying homage to the early stages of the Lower East Side.
