House of Yes (2007-present)

Art school grads Anya Sapozhnikova and Kae Burke opened the first iteration of House of Yes back in 2007 as an underground, DIY collective. After burning down in a toaster fire, the club reopened in an erstwhile Bushwick warehouse on New Year’s Eve 2015 with the same immersive performance acts, acrobatics and aerialists, and colorful costumes that made it one of the most different, and visually-appealing club experiences in town. These days, House of Yes still puts on those shows and also curates performances for the new Edition Hotel’s Paradise Club.
