Along with spots like Verboten and Bossa Nova Civic Club, the now-shuttered Output helped draw the real dance-music crowd to Brooklyn, offering the house, techno, and post-disco sounds made iconic in the 90s. It was the borough’s first fully-licensed venue to house and techno music whose lack of dress code and bottle service set it apart from what was available when it opened in 2013. Among those who’ve performed over the year are Laurent Garnier, Duke Dumont, and Lee Foss.
