7. Saigon, Vietnam
Vietnam’s largest city is a well-known tourist destination, and has long been known for the debauchery of Bui Vien, the wild backpacker street. However, the city’s rapid growth has also given rise to a more sophisticated bar and club scene that would appeal to more modern global sensibilities. District 1 hot spots like the new Bam Bam draw in international DJs of various genres, while Kasho remains the hottest nightclub for bottle service, local electronic music, and creative costumed themes. And while Vietnam is not yet on par with Thailand or Indonesia terms of large-scale festivals, Saigon will once again host the Ravolution Music Festival in December, featuring the likes of Don Diablo and Oliver Hedlens.
