Or perhaps we should say "fluttering," considering the new hot spot at SIXTY SoHo is called Butterfly.
Inspired by architect Carlo Mollino's famously eclectic home in Turin, Italy, the chic space is the brainchild of nightlife and hospitality vets John McDonald, Nur Khan, and Jason Pomeranc, featuring exclusive new works by artist Damien Hirst, as well as a display of his iconic butterflies. With the vibes of an intimate living room, Butterfly has already seen its fair share of socialites and New York A-listers, as it was tapped as the official after-party space for the Save Venice Ball back in April.
"There’s nothing like this downtown right now, where you can go out early or after dinner. It’s a lounge room with good music, but not loud music. We are bringing in musically literate, stylish, like-minded people that want to hang out in a place that will curate and they will appreciate," says Khan.
It's certainly one of this season's new must-visits. Click through for a first look inside!
