It's been a long week and happy hour is almost here. Don't be a Debbie Downer and go home because you are watching your calories. You should be looking forward to having fun not running from it. So, we've made it easy for you. Here is a list of the best beer, wine and mixed drinks to order at the bar to avoid a diet disaster.

    Mixed Drinks

For a lower calorie mixed drink there are two tricks: one, look for the lower alcohol content and two, go for a cocktail that doesn't use a lot of mixers. So, if you like cocktails and your watching your waist line, I'd suggest you order one of these.

Vodka and Sugar Free Red Bull, averages 80 calories per 8oz.

Bloody Mary, averages about 125 calories per 10 oz.

Manhattan, averages around 130 calories per 10 oz.

The worst cocktail goes to the Long Island Iced Tea which clocks in at 780 calories per drink!

    Best Beer

Beer isn't the greatest option while dieting or watching your calories but some beers aren't as bad as you would think. So for all you hops lovers here is a short list of the best low calorie beer.

Pabst Blue Ribbon Extra Light, 67 calories per 12 oz.

Molson Light, 82calories per 12 oz.

Anheuser Busch Natural Light, 95 calories per 12  oz.

    Best Wines

If you talk to anyone about wine, most people will say that it is good for you, however, just because something is good for you doesn't mean you will not gain weight. For all you calorie counting winos:

White Zinfandel, more or less 80 calories for a 4 oz. glass

Chablis, 85 calories per  4 oz.

Chardonnay, 90 calories per 4 oz.

    and the worst...

Ruby Port, 185 calories for a 4 oz. glass of wine!!!

    Cheers!
