Name: Lit Lounge Where: 93 2nd Avenue between East 5th & 6th Street Lit Lounge draws in an artsy crowd, particularly those from Brooklyn. Here, it's all about the art, the vintage rock and roll vibe comes together with modern artists, photographers, actors and musicians. An 'alternative' place, the drinks are cheap - Thursdays are when beer is on offer $3/$4 -  and the place is run down but it suits the crowd; the bathrooms are an ode to an 70s crack house but it's definitely worth visiting if you're into the downtown art scene.
