The newest hold-your-breath-while-you-walk-up-to-the-doorman spot taking over downtown (especially because the doorman is none other than the infamously discerning Wass Stevens) is Little Sister Lounge. The TAO Group production, located beneath the newish Moxy East Village is a sprawling, glamorous spot inspired by the "nightclubs of the '90s," complete with wooden, barrel-vaulted ceilings and this dramatic bar situation. Stop by on Sundays for their "Sunday Sauce" party, which seems to be a hit.
